Non-existent existence

Sunlight shimmers
On the leaves
That sway with silent cold breeze…

While the red bricked withered wall
With fogged glasses stands close
Contrasting the liveliness preached by the trees…

Shadows of life
Dance across the pages I write…
And the wind caresses me gently…

Birds flutter and sing in appreciation…
With long braches
That spread across the sky
I am protected against the gleaming sun…
Colours of nature
Amaze my curious little eyes…

But the melancholic fan rotates constantly
Murmuring its monotonicity….

The spider’s web is broken
Hanging mid air
With only its past to tell…

A bird is caught
In the ruthless steel barbered wires
With no one to her cry…

Nature silently bears pain…
While humans march over it
With compliance and greed…
Only a few stop to embrace
And fewer to take its care…

If we silently sleep
In our illusive vanity…
Of man made castles
Forgetting and abusing conscience…
It won’t be long
Till nature takes its toll…
Its isn’t an unknown prophecy
Its only that we try to hide it from ourselves…

Raindrops from the heavenly skies,
The fish’s swim in the deep blue seas,
The corals swaying to waves deep within…
Reflection of life
In water…

It isn’t so hard to see,
That nature has accepted our short stay in the magical earth…
And not the other way round…
With every right it gave us life,
It has every right to take it too…

Humans are born,
With conscience in each…
Humility resides in all…
But only some embrace their true being…
While the rest,
Get caught up in the worldly maze
They create…

In the paper notes with numbers,
In their buildings they name as banks…
While they create their own world of complexities,
And comparisons…

Nature laughs at these childish games…

Mother would bear her child’s groan,
But wouldn’t stay silent
If the child kept inflicting pain on her
Dismissing her existence…

Cause humans are asleep
Asleep in ignorance
Asleep in compliance
Asleep in greed…

Only a few are awake
To the beauties and melodies
That nature sings…

While the rest,
Too comfortable in their sleep
Of non-existence…
